Secondly, NICE offers guidance on exercise-referral-schemes. This guidance has more emphasis on physical exercises as stated on the definition. It aims to improve on the quality of physical exercises administered by medical practitioners or professionals. It helps the healthcare professionals to provide effective interventions in addition to the sensitization on the methods which can be used to promote physical activity. The methods are four in total.
